We enable travel agents to book flights, hotels & holidays conveniently and we provide comprehensive end-to-end on-ground travel services. We do over INR 1000 crore+ GMV (sales) and are growing rapidly.

Our strong business model and focus on delivering excellent customer experience has facilitated our sustainable growth funded by internal cashflows. To fuel innovation and growth, we have raised USD 5.5mn+ funds from marquee global investors! 

Profile Overview:

General Manager- Business is a key role where an ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business, overall business growth & achieving revenue targets. The one analyzes data, monitors market conditions and sets goals to drive the best relationships with existing/new agents by executing sales strategies.

Growth Prospects:    

  • Annual CTC - ₹ 30-50 LPA 

  • ESOPs + promotions + aggressive growth prospects (read further) !

  • Fast Appraisal -  Despite Covid, we had appraisals in 6 months in Jan & July 2020

  • Aggressive Hikes - In May'21 & Jan'22, Average Hike was 35% & 30% respectively.

What we are looking for: 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • This is a P&L ownership role - Responsible for the overall strategy & execution of the business function/ units.

  • Drive business growth and achieve volume and revenue targets for the category.

  • Driving projects, creating stellar marketing operations, crafting and executing sales strategies, and leading A+ team

  • Drive key vendor relationship for TravClan, identifying strategic partners and negotiating better terms of trade and deals for our partner agents

  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of latest business developments and market trends, competition Analysis

  • Define metrics and KPIs to monitor performance, set goals and measure success of the reporting teams

  • Work with the Analytics team to drive business growth by analyzing data and monitoring relevant market conditions.

Check if you fit in the role-

You Must-

  • Have a minimum 2 years of experience in fast paced startups.

  • Have prior experience in leading sales teams.

  • Have experience in P&L ownership and business strategy.

  • Deep understanding of market trends and competition

This role is not ideal for someone who is-

  • Avoids driving growth targets and is not data-oriented.

  • Prefers a slow‑paced, low‑ownership role

  • Is uncomfortable with negotiations or market research

  • Not comfortable with long working hours i.e. 10 - 12 hours daily

  • Not excited about working on Saturdays (6 days a week)



The Recruitment Process:

1. CV Shortlisting: The first step of selection involves shortlisting candidates based on the CV.
2. Task Round: Task related to Role.
3. Personal Interviews: 2-3 video interviews. Detailed discussions about the job profile, company & candidature are discussed in these rounds.
 4. Extending an offer: On successfully clearing the interview rounds, the job offer is extended to the candidate. This includes financial benefits and many other benefits. 

Important Points:

  • Office Location- Connaught Place, Delhi

  • Work Timings - 9:30 till work gets over. You are considering joining a startup. Building anything of value takes time. The majority of our exits happen within the first 2 months of people joining because new joiners are not able to adjust to the high pace environment. You can expect 10-12 hours of work in a day!
