Profile Overview:

Business Development Intern at TravClan is a key role that focuses on growing the volume of business done by agents. You will resolve agents' grievances related to payments, and services & work on retaining every agent with a wonderful experience.

Growth Prospects:    

  • Stipend -Your starting stipend will be Rs.15000 per month. After each month based on your performance your stipend will gradually increase. The Increase will happen as follows -

  • Certificate on successful completion of the internship. Letter of Recommendation or PPO on delivering exceptional results with CTC ranging between 5 to 9 LPA.

What we are looking for: 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Sole point of contact in building and managing a highly engaged community of business entrepreneurs/ agents.

  • Educating members about TravClan and managing 100-200 business accounts.

  • Working in close interface with the finance, product and marketing team to build better processes, products and reach, respectively.

  • Healthy retention of agents while growing the volume of Agent's business through TravClan

  • Ensuring customer delight while managing Agent's grievances related to payments, services, products etc.

  • Effectively managing feedback and escalations from customers and vendors.

  • Hosting country-wide offline and online events & meet-ups of members from time to time.

  • Is available for a full-time internship.

  • Can start the internship immediately.

  • Is available for a duration of 2/ 3 months.

  • Strong Negotiation skills

  • Not comfortable with sales/targets
  • Not okay speaking with customers on call for a minimum of 4 hours daily!
  • Not good at resolving customer queries or escalations
  • Not comfortable with long working hours i.e. 10 - 12 hours daily
  • Not excited about working on Saturdays (6 days a week)

 

 

The Recruitment Process:

1. Group Discussion & Aptitude Test: The first step of the recruitment process is a 50 minute aptitude test, followed by a basic 30-minute group discussion round.

2. Personal Interviews: 2-3 video interviews. Detailed discussions about the job profile, company & candidature are discussed in these rounds.
 
3. Extending an offer: On successfully clearing the interview rounds, the job offer is extended to the candidate. 


Important Points:

  • Office Location: Connaught Place, Delhi 

  • Work Timings: 9.30 till work gets over. You are considering joining a startup. Building anything of value takes time. The majority of our exits happen within the first 2 months of people joining because new joiners are not able to adjust to the high pace environment. 
    You can expect 10-12 hours of work in a day!
